In this article, we will show you how to fly from Karachi to Jinnah International Airport in FSX using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft. We will also provide some tips and tricks to make your flight more enjoyable and realistic.

Step 1: Choose Your Aircraft and Location

The first step is to choose your aircraft and location in FSX. To do this, go to the main menu and click on "Free Flight". Then, select the Boeing 737-800 as your aircraft by clicking on "Change" next to "Aircraft". You can customize your aircraft's appearance, fuel, weight, and balance by clicking on "Details".

Next, select Karachi as your departure airport by clicking on "Change" next to "Current Location". You can use the search box to find the airport by its name, city, or ICAO code (OPKC). You can also choose your runway, parking spot, time, and weather by clicking on "Customize". For this flight, we will use runway 25L as our departure runway.

Step 2: Plan Your Flight

The next step is to plan your flight by creating a flight plan in FSX. To do this, go back to the main menu and click on "Flight Planner". Then, click on "Select" next to "Departure Airport" and choose Karachi (OPKC) as your departure airport. Similarly, click on "Select" next to "Destination Airport" and choose Jinnah International Airport (OPKC) as your destination airport.

Next, click on "Find Route" to generate a flight plan based on the shortest distance between the two airports. You can also modify your flight plan by adding or deleting waypoints, changing altitudes, or choosing different airways. For this flight, we will use the following flight plan:

  • Karachi (OPKC) - Departure runway 25L

  • MELOM - Waypoint at 24Â57'N 67Â18'E

  • JINNA - Waypoint at 24Â54'N 67Â10'E

  • Jinnah International Airport (OPKC) - Arrival runway 25R

The total distance of this flight plan is about 18 nautical miles (33 kilometers) and the estimated flight time is about 10 minutes. You can also view your flight plan on a map by clicking on "Nav Log". To save your flight plan, click on "Save" and give it a name.

Step 3: Fly Your Flight

The final step is to fly your flight in FSX. To do this, go back to the main menu and click on "Fly Now". You will see your aircraft parked at Karachi airport with the engines off. To start your engines, press CTRL+E on your keyboard or use the checklist in the cockpit. To taxi to the runway, use the throttle, brakes, and rudder pedals or keys. To communicate with the air traffic control (ATC), press on your keyboard or use the radio panel in the cockpit.

To take off from runway 25L, align your aircraft with the centerline of the runway and apply full throttle. Rotate at about 150 knots (278 km/h) and retract your landing gear and flaps. Climb to your assigned altitude and follow your flight plan. To navigate, you can use the GPS, autopilot, or instruments in the cockpit. To view different camera angles, use the S key or the menu bar.
