Intel has announced the support for H.264 in the firmware of the new Apple MacBook Pro models in the September 2013 launch of the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro and 15-inch MacBook Pro. This new implementation also has support for faster video processing.
The processor features three H.264 encode/decode hardware cores, each handling the coding and decoding of a single plane of data in the Y, U and V color components of a video frame. These cores can be independently programmed to process one of the three planes, or all three simultaneously, utilizing all three cores. This enables the processor to operate at full capacity in software decoding mode, where all three planes are processed simultaneously. When operating in hardware decoder mode, the processor delivers video from the screen in a “pixel-perfect” fashion, which means that the images are not encoded or decoded at a higher resolution than the native resolution of the screen.
I still have BT4.0 module but Macbook Pro did not wake up properly with this newly installed BT4.0 module and I can't login to my Macbook Pro. All I can do is hard reset the Macbook Pro. Any solution on this one?
It happened before with the previous used module but I was only able to login to my Macbook Pro and remove that module and put back the original one. With this new Wifi/BT module I can't login to my Macbook Pro at all. It wakes up immediately after going to sleep and will not allow me to login. Is there a way to remove this module to allow me to login to my Macbook Pro again?
Today I started my Macbook Pro with new WiFi/BT module. I was able to login after several times. But after several minutes it stopped working. I can't login to my Macbook Pro. I have the same BT4.0 module. Anyone with same issue can confirm this is the issue?
