Obviously, this is a very early build of the multiplayer component. The main objective of RFMP is to create a smooth, enjoyable and competitive multiplayer experience for you and your friends. This pre-alpha version is meant to be mainly a proof of concept, so expect bugs, game-breaking glitches and balance issues to occur. However, you can now start playing against your friends and clans!
RFMP now features a player statistics tab, which tells you your statistics such as Player Kills, Deaths, Kills/Deaths (S/D), and many more. You can view this in the Overview Screen. In this build, games can take place any time (PvP or Co-Op). Please use these builds for ideas, bug reporting, and testing.
That's right folks! Ravenfield now has its very own community-curated multiplayer mode! RFMP is a community project with the sole goal of bringing multiplayer to Ravenfield. You can now join in the multiplayer PvP mayhem with your Eagle (or Raven) Allies to eliminate those pesky Ravens (or Eagles)!
The video above gives a good overview of the features in the RFMP mod, but here are the most important details. Once everything is in place, Ravenfield will have a new “MultiPlayer” mode which can easily be triggered from R_Launcher. You can choose between a Penguin Swarm (on the ground) or an Eagle Swarm (in the sky) Each of the two teams will have 5 player and will have a pre-set number of respawns. Once all the players of a team are dead, the team respawns where they came from, and continues on with the game. d2c66b5586
