This software gathers, stores, and analyzes data and streamlines reporting to help identify adjustments needed for effective treatment and patient care. DirectView allows clinicians to select and order parameters, and export data to statistical applications in an open format.
Offline Scoring Offline Scoring gives instant notification of any deviation from the user selected normal settings (i.e. too high or too low) before the next measurement is taken. The user has the option of closing the program immediately or performing offline scoring; this allows at home monitoring of therapy settings. Offline scoring makes it possible to avoid a situation where the compliance to therapy is very high but with regular adjustments of therapy settings. Offline scoring can be toggled on and off in the drop down menu of the therapist.
Philips Respironics has added an insert to their scoring software for the Encore II CPAP with integrated humidifier which is quite unique. They have included the standard algorithm that most CPAP users are used to. As long as you are using the auto algorithm to determine if the mask pressure is too high, this has no effect on the level of added pressure. They have also added another algorithm that is activated when the sensor is first placed on the patient to verify that there was no mask leak when they did their initial fitting. This is a win-win situation for the new user, since it will prompt them to verify their setup. These are made available by system wide drop-down menus. If you are using a previous version of the software, you will need to download the file to upgrade to v3.0.1. d2c66b5586
