In December 2016, a crack for Far Cry Primal said to be from a group called OSFORD was released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One a day before the game's official release. In 2017, another group named CPYRANKC also claimed credit for the crack. On May 17, 2017, it was discovered that the group was actually made up of several people who had joined the group on Discord and was not an actual group at all. On June 8, 2017, 1UP identified a video reportedly released by CPYRANKC as a fake. A video from the group later appeared to have been heavily modified using other footage, but was released as an actual video with the game information intact on June 29, 2017. The group also released the first cracks for Mass Effect Andromeda on May 16, 2017, two days before its release.
In 2018, the group released cracked copies of Battlefield V, Assassin's Creed Origins, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, HITMAN 2, Life is Strange 2, Need for Speed: Heat, Pro Evolution Soccer 2019, Anthem, Assassin's Creed: Origins, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, A Way Out, Strange Brigade, and Ace Combat 7. d2c66b5586
